Citation Management Tools

EndNote

(EndNote has replaced RefWorks, the previous citation management tool provided by the library.) Endnote is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows users to create their own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. They can use these references in writing their papers and automatically format the paper and the bibliography in seconds. Read introduction / instructions for SHSU EndNote users.

Please note: A new 6th edition of the APA style manual was published in fall 2009. The EndNote website documents a few issues related to using EndNote to create citations in this new edition's style. Read that page carefully if you will be using APA 6th edition style in EndNote.
