Information from the American Chemical Society database must be entered into RefWorks manually.
  1. After logging in to RefWorks, click on References/Add New Reference.
  2. In the "View Required Fields For" box, select the desired style (example, APA).
  3. Choose the appropriate Ref Type (for example, journal article). Note the fields available.
  4. Copy the information from American Chemical Society Database field by field, paste to appropriate field in RefWorks.
