As you leave the second floor and walk up the central staircase, you will notice Charles Pebworth's 1988 artwork entitled "Mahogany and Metal Wall Sculpture" decorating the second floor hallway. Pebworth was a professor at SHSU and a previous Texas artist of the year who donated several pieces to the library.
